Ellen Berkovitch had a plan for a bi-weekly arts and culture magazine focusing on the cities of the American southwest. With multiple contributors spread out over several cities, it was important to her that the site be easy to update, constantly relevant, but not look like just another blog. Orphic worked with her to create an evolving online journal of creative works in the Rocky Mountain west.
